SISTER NIVEDITA TAKNIKI SHIKSHA SAMITI
Sister Nivedita Takniki Shiksha Samiti (SNTSS) is an NGO under Madhya Pradesh Society Registration Act 1973. It is working in the field of education. SNTSS takes pride in bringing about a change in the mindset of the engineering colleges of the region. Due to overwhelming colleges that have set up in the state, engineering has merely become a name. Students passing out of the colleges are engineers just for the namesake. They do not have any technical knowledge about their subjects. SNTSS took a step forwaard to bring about a change in this respect. SNTSS has been active in spreading awareness of engineering, technology and innovation among students. Model exhibitions organized by SNTSS have seen extensive participation by students from villages and semi-urban areas. Hindi medium students, who have otherwise become second-class children of the education system, have used the opportunity to show their capabilities.
Srijan, brain child of Sister Nivedita Takniki Siksha Samiti, Bhopal is a festival for engineering and pahrmacy students organised at various engineering and pharmacy institutes of Madhya Pradesh. It aims to provide a platform to the students to showcase their creativity and innovation either by way of making models or by presenting technical research papers in their respective branches. It also provides students with an opportunity to participate in many other activities like Quiz, Tech Rangoli, Robotics, Group Song etc. Every SRIJAN has some symposiums/seminars where experts and thinkers from across the country gather to discuss various issues. This event sees wide participation of students making them aware of national issues.
